About Us

Zons Development was formed in 2003 by Paul Paluzzi and Ron Stewart to pursue various real estate development opportunities across Florida. The strategic plan and execution have included some of the following key components.

The ability to zero in on geographic market areas that are on the verge of experiencing significant value increases

The use of a company helicopter to allow much faster assessment of local development trends, as well as stronger negotiating from an acquisition and sales perspective

Careful selection of acquisition, development, and disposition to spread resources across a broad range of demographic and geographic markets

The use of in-house design and construction expertise to allow faster execution

Our Team

Founding member of Zons Development, L.L.C. and various related entities. Prior to creating Zons Development, Paluzzi held a senior executive position with an international management consulting company and assisted in building that company from $38 million in annual revenue to over $160 million worldwide. Expertise was providing general management consulting services to small and medium-sized, entrepreneurial companies. Paluzzi’s office worked with about 7000 clients per year, about 20% of whom were contractors/developers. He left in 2001 to pursue development opportunities, thus creating Zons Development. Paluzzi has since been involved in the acquisition, development, and disposition of well over $250 million in real estate projects.

Co-founder of the Meredith Corporation, a National Real Estate Corporation, where he developed, syndicated and managed over 4 million square feet of real estate. This included retail space, 11 hotels, 15,000 apartment units, and numerous townhome and office projects across the United States. Stewart is also the former owner of American Capital Resources, Inc., a mortgage-banking firm with annual volume exceeding $250 million. Stewart now focuses his talents at Zons Development as the co-founder.

A commercial lawyer with over 30 years of experience in representing large and small clients at the trial and appellate levels. Kasten is a member of the Trial Lawyers Section and Business Law Section, of The Florida Bar and the Hillsborough County Bar Association.

Kasten is currently a senior shareholder and lawyer with Bush Ross, P.A. His practice includes commercial and contract matters, non-compete agreements, business disputes, shareholder/corporate disputes, real estate litigation, real estate title matters, bankruptcy, creditor’s rights, and complex commercial collection matters. Kasten represents local and regional banks and businesses. He is also a Circuit Court Mediator approved by The Florida Bar Association.

Kasten has also been involved with real estate investing, ownership, and development since 2001. In addition to purchasing and renovating a 19,000 square foot office and retail building in downtown Tampa, he has participated in the Palm Bay Interchange project, as well as the purchase and development of the Frontage Road Tampa project now known as Skyview Plaza.

Vice President of Operations at Zons Development, Kramer brings expertise in remodeling and construction. Previous to his present position as VP, he supervised remodeling and construction projects for universities and commercial entities. He earned both his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from different universities, taught postgraduate classes, and trained business management consultants for an international consulting company. Kramer has written and edited industry manuals, published industry white papers, and has been a featured speaker at both corporate and national conferences and seminars.
